A firm date in wine connoisseurs’ diaries, Beaujolais day, the third Thursday in November is hotly anticipated. This year The Royal Oak Marylebone is pulling out all the stops with a three-course set-menu for one night only, designed especially to complement the young red wine.
Priced at £35 per head, the menu includes some inspired takes on French classics such as delicate gougeres filled with morbier and mushrooms, poached Lyonnaise sausage, and a zesty tarte au citron to finish.
