Ref: 1553, After school or Nanny/Housekeeper – Wandsworth Common (SW12)
Job Description:
The family, consisting of three members, resides in Wandsworth Common (SW12) and is currently seeking a nurturing and responsible nanny to join our family and provide care for our 4-year-old son who has just started reception. We are open to considering candidates for two different options:
Option 1: Afterschool Nanny
Hours: Ideally from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday (20 hours per week during term time).
Additional hours during holiday weeks, ideally 45 hours per week.
Flexibility on holiday hours can be discussed.
School is a short 3-minute walk away.
No driving required.
Duties solely focused on the care of our child.
Option 2: Nanny and Housekeeper
Hours: Ideally from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday (25 hours per week during term time).
Additional hours during holiday weeks, ideally 45 hours per week.
Flexibility on holiday hours can be discussed.
Light household work involved, including cooking for the child and potentially the family.
We have a separate cleaner who visits twice a week.
School is a short 3-minute walk away.
No driving required.
Duties include both childcare and light housekeeping.
Requirements:
Previous experience in childcare is preferred.
Must be reliable, responsible, and caring.
Flexibility to adapt to the family’s needs.
Ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our child.
Fluent in English.
Salary Offered:
£15 net per hour (Negotiable, approximately £ 19 gross per hour).
The family is reasonable, respectful, and caring, valuing the well-being and happiness of our nanny. The current nanny has been with us for four years and has had a wonderful experience.
