One of our clients is seeking a new Senior Retail Project Manager to join their close-knit team on a full-time and permanent basis. They have a relaxed, busy but fun studio atmosphere. The candidate will assist the Managing Director, as well as the whole team, while also managing the daily running of the office.

The Ideal Candidate should have experience :

Managing bespoke production processes

Full understanding of Retail and exhibition H&S procedure and logistic

Understand technical drawings and material specification

Ability to problem solve, critical and lateral thinking skills

Experience of planning and organising

Retail installs

Window build and installation

Pop-ups

Events & Exhibition

JOB ROLE :

To be responsible for the overall project and production management , co-ordination, implementation, control and completion of specific projects following the LA5 processes and procedures and supporting the AM and Design team to succesfully deliver the projects.

Identify structural processes and procedures for the development of the Project Management department.

Ensure that Production department and contractors are fully briefed on project requirements, delivery timescales and standards.

Source materials, manufacturers and suppliers.

Ensure production of projects/ designs are successfully delivered in line with H&S, retail guideline, Client brief, timeline and budget.

Budgeting and ensuring that costs are maintained within set budgets throughout project.

Produce and maintain critical path, project timelines & task lists

Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ensure good communication with internal departments and clients regarding change, challenges control and project progress.

Report on financial status of project to the MD.

Translate technical drawings to production and artist brief

Maintain highly confidential information throughout the entire process

REQUIRED SKILLS :

Proficient knowledge in Office Suite (Adobe InDesign a bonus, but not necessary) CAD drawings

Resourceful

Multitasking

Experience of conflict management

Good negotiation skills

Good communication skills

Production process knowledge (Materials, H&S, logistics…)

ABOUT YOU

Understand the retail luxury field

Have knowledge of fabrication processes and materials

Time management skills across multiple projects with tight deadlines

Adaptable, dynamic and quick thinking with a flexible approach.

Ability to work independently and cohesively alongside the managing director and production Director.

Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high quality output

Previous agency experience (preferred but not necessary).

Working hours : Monday to Friday from 9/9.30 am to 6 pm

Salary offered: £35 000 to £45 000 gross per year
