A lovely French family from Camden are looking for a live-out Nanny to look after their 4 year old girl and 6 year old boy.
Their philosophy regarding childcare « As our son is on the autistic spectrum, it is essential that we are able to guide him at all times and not leave him to his own devices, except at certain times.
We have certain rules such as putting his toys away, eating sitting at the table and only getting up with the permission of an adult, but within these rules we are very flexible and trust the carer, for example leaving him the choice of activities and meals (as long as they are balanced of course). We have a very gentle approach to discipline and teaching and do not encourage raising our voice or punishing them too systematically. »
Duties/Requirements:
– All nanny duties
– Supervising meal and snack times
– Making sure the children are always safe and happy
– French speaker with good English.
– Prefer a driver
– Settled or pre-settled status (or right to work in the UK visa) needed
– Enhanced DBS check maximum one year old
– Valid first Aid certificate maximum three years old
– Original of all qualifications and certificates
– Minimum 2 year experience with contactable references
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm except on Wednesday from 12 pm to 7 pm (Contract based on a minimum of 20 hours)
Salary offered: £ 13 to £ 15 net per hour (around £ 338 gross per week) £ 10 net per hour if live-in
Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom
