Ref: 0840, French speaking Nanny – Part-time – Live-out – Canning Town
A sweet Belgium/Nigerian family of 4 from Canning Town are looking for a live-out french speaking Nanny to look after their 4 year old and 18 month old boys. The little boy is allergic to eggs, dairy and white fish.
Their philosophy regarding childcare « We value a set routine with regards to meals and bedtime. We value education – our children love books! Our 5-year old is very advanced at school and is able to read very well. Our youngest loves being read to. We also like to promote learning through playful activities. We love the montessori method for instance. We like to set boundaries when it comes to discipline. However, we promote independence and allow them to express themselves as much as possible. They are both very obedient. We like to encourage art and creativity through music (dancing, singing, playing instruments). »
Duties/Requirements:
– Nursery and school runs
– Organising all activities
– Supervising meal and snack times
– Help with french homework
– Making sure the children are always safe and happy
– French Speaker required
– Enhanced DBS check maximum one year old
– Valid first Aid certificate maximum three years old
– Original of all qualifications and certificates
– Minimum 2 years experiences with contactable references
Working hours:
Option 1: – Tuesday: 8.30 am – 6.30 pm ; Wednesday: 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm ; Thursday: 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm ; Friday: 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm – Total 22 hours per week.
Option 2: Tuesday: 8.30 am – 7.30 pm ; Wednesday: 3.30 pm – 8.30 pm ; Thursday: 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm ; Friday: 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm – Total 24 hrs
Salary offered: £ 12 net per hour (£ 15 gross per hours)
