Looking for an au pair to start in April 2023.
We’re a family of four, with two girls who will be almost 2, and 4.5 in April next year. The youngest is in nursery 3-days a week, and the oldest in pre-school.
We live in a beautiful 5-bedroom house in a lovely area of central London - Canada Water, zone 2. Very close to London Bridge, Canary Wharf, Waterloo, Westminster etc. We’re lucky enough to have a (little) garden and live on a canal.
Duties include: looking after our youngest 2 days per week when she’s not in nursery, dropping-off and picking-up our 4 year old from pre-school (she goes to after-school club some days). Looking after the girls until we come home from work around 5.30. Some light cooking, washing for the girls and keeping the place generally tidy. Occasional babysitting. We have a cleaner who comes once a week.
In exchange, you’ll get £120-£150 per week. We’ll pay for your food and travelcard. Generous holidays (c.6 weeks per year) and opportunity to work more hours for extra money during school holidays. You’ll have your own double bedroom and bathroom (rarely used by anyone else) on the ground floor of our house.
I speak French with the children so we’re looking for a french-speaking au pair, who can stay 12 months minimum. You’ll need pre-settled status or a relevant youth mobility visa. Our last au pair has been with us for 3.5 years already, since I was on maternity leave with our eldest, and will be happy to speak about her experience.
