Please join us for an evening with the outstanding Maylis de Kerangal as she presents her widely-praised novel, the emotionally hard-hitting MEND THE LIVING. Longlisted for 2016’s Man Booker International Prize and winner of the 2017 Wellcome Trust Book Prize, Mend the Living deals poignantly with the transition between life and death and the impossible questions surrounding organ donation and transplant.
The novel has been translated into English by Jessica Moore, who worked with Kerangal on BIRTH OF A BRIDGE in 2015, and published by MacLehose Press. The event will be chaired by the brilliant author and translator Ben Faccini.
