Comédie Française is released in UK cinemas on October 9th and playing in London at Ciné Lumière and Chiswick Cinema with more cinemas to be added
Bertrand Usclat and Martin Darondeau’s hilarious comedy is a love letter to the theatre, set during the chaotic three hours before the opening night of Shakespeare’s Macbeth at Paris’s prestigious Comédie-Française
France’s hit summer comedy is a delicious behind-the-scenes farce which is unafraid to poke fun at the highbrow reputation of French theatre. Featuring a cast of real-life members of the Comédie-Française company, this is a gleeful, knowing parody and a sheer delight.
