Ref: 1556, After-School Nanny – Algate East (E1)
Family Profile: French and Argentinean family seeking a dedicated nanny to care for their two daughters, aged 4 and 7 months, in the Aldgate East area of London.
Position Overview: The mother of the family will be returning to work full-time on November 1st after maternity leave. We are searching for a nurturing nanny to provide afternoon care for the children, five days a week, for approximately 3 hours per day.
Salary: The family offers a competitive hourly rate between £15 and £18 net per hour, commensurate with experience.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (15 hours per week).
Responsibilities:
Pick up the 7-month-old baby from nursery, which is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from the family’s residence near Shadwell, at 4:00 PM.
Proceed to pick up the 4-year-old from school on Brick Lane, usually around 4:30 PM.
Engage the children in age-appropriate activities, which may include playtime, homework assistance, and other educational activities.
Prepare and supervise bath time for the children.
Ideally, prepare dinner
Create a safe and stimulating environment for the children’s development.
Requirements:
Previous childcare experience.
Fluent in French and/or Spanish.
Caring, responsible, and reliable.
Ability to engage with children and foster language development.
Ideally, the nanny should be comfortable with light meal preparation.
Additional Information:
This position is a wonderful opportunity for a Francophone or Hispanophone nanny to help the children reinforce their language skills.
The family’s flat is located near Shadwell, with convenient access to the nursery and school.
Start date: November 1st, 2023 (to coincide with the mother’s return to work).
