A lovely family from Brook Green/Shepherd’s Bush (2 Dads) are looking for a Nanny to look after their 15 month old girl.
Their philosophy regarding childcare « We follow a rather French parenting style, “parent led”. A certain flexibility, the routine is not rigid. Plenty of games and activities during the day. One outing a day.
We base certain decisions on the book “J’eleve mon enfant”, particularly with regard to diversification and education.
Firm limits or discipline are used mainly to protect our daughter from danger, otherwise we support her discovery of the world and her development as best we can.
We are proud to be a same-sex family and will teach our daughter that all families are unique and equal, that families are created through love (and not genetics). »
Duties/Requirements:
– All nanny duties
– Focus on Child development
– Organising the child daily schedule
– Carrying out naptime routines
– Making sure the child is always safe and happy
– Supervising meals and snack times
– Changing nappies
– Potty training experience
– French speaking Nanny with good English
– Open to occasionally travelling with family on holiday would be a plus
– Settled or pre-settled status (or right to work in the UK visa) needed
– Enhanced DBS check maximum one year old
– Valid first Aid certificate maximum three years old
– Original of all qualifications and certificates
– Minimum 2 years experiences with contactable references
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm
Salary offered: £ 15 net per hour (around £ 55 000 gross per year)
Start date: November 2023- early Jan 2024 the family is flexible
Job end date: Permanent
