Hello Nannies 
Ref: 1524, Nanny/Housekeeper – Live-in or Live-out – Longstock (SO 20)
A lovely family from Longstock are looking for a Live-in or Live-out Nanny/Housekeeper to look after their 5 and 2 year old children. (The 2 year old child is currently excluding dairy and gluten but in the process of reintroducing.)
Their philosophy regarding childcare « We like to spend as much time as we can with our children. We strive to raise empathetic and kind children. We listen to our children and talk them through conflict and high running emotions. We believe strongly that the foundations for physical and emotional health are laid in the early years, so we put a strong emphasis on both of these things now, in particular by modelling healthy habits. This includes eating well and avoiding sugar and other unhealthy food as much as possible, spending time outside and encouraging friendships. »
Duties/Requirements:
– All nanny duties
– Nursery / school runs and preparing uniform
– Making sure the children are always safe and happy
– Preparing and supervising meals and snack times. Cooking evening meals for the family
– light housekeeping including tidying, keeping the kitchen clean, laundry
– Fluent English
– Able to travel with the family (to London and the odd trip abroad )
– Must be a driver (car provided for work)
– Settled or pre-settled status (or right to work in the UK visa) needed
– Enhanced DBS check maximum one year old
– Valid first Aid certificate maximum three years old
– Original of all qualifications and certificates
– Minimum 2 year experience with contactable references
Working hours: Somewhat negotiable but ideally 10.5 hours per day 4 days per week (Thursdays off)
Salary offered: Up to £45k gross per year depending on experience and hours
Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom
Start date: Mid September
