Beethoven Piano Sonatas Opus 109, 110, 111

A multifaceted artist, author and art director, Alexandre Tharaud is a world-class solo pianist with an eclectic palette ranging from baroque music to the contemporary repertoire. Invited to take part in the most prestigious orchestras around the globe, from the London Philharmonic Orchestra to the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, he often performs on the stage of the Queen Elizabeth Hall (London) or the Carnegie Hall (New York) and has released a plethora of albums celebrating the greatest composers from Haydn, Mozart, Bach and more recently Beethoven with Beethoven Piano Sonatas Opus 109, 110, 111 which he will be presenting at the Institut français.

This concert marks the launch of a new partnership between Warner Classics UK and the Institut français

Before the concert, restorer and piano maker David Winston will present the Pleyel grand piano, recently renovated thanks to the generous support of Madame Aline Foriel-Destezet.

The Concert will be followed by a Q&A with Alexandre Tharaud and journalist Charlotte Gardner
